כחומר שמחבר דימויים רחוקי מושגים רחוקים. אין
סתירות, יש מורכבות, ובמובן הזה האקזוטי הוא
לא עוד חלום, הוא בעל גוף

(1994) Chaya teaches and creates in Jerusalem.
A graduate of the art department in Bezalel, she presented in several group exhibitions and one solo exhibition at Mezo Gallery.
Creates with invented techniques from the worlds of traditional crafts, sculpture and painting, by means of light, skin, color, smell and temperature. Looking for an edge story that will buy work a romantic possibility to live.
Dealing with the wild in the art, in the self through mythical figures and large animals that present the abnormalities of the exotic from the place. And brings to mind such a hybrid that redefines the local as a material that connects distant images, distant concepts. There are no contradictions, there is complexity, and in this sense the exotic is no longer a dream, it has a body.
